Network Password Reset

There are two options to self-reset a password that is about to expire.

First - stop at a Lakeland campus and log in to a lab computer with your old password. Press Control+Alt+Delete and click on Change Password.

Second - If you have set up your contact information in Office 365 you can reset your password at passwordreset.lakeland.edu.

Third - Sign in to your Lakeland email via Office 365

  • Click on Settings
  • A menu will appear on the right side.
  • In the search bar at the top, type in password
  • A password result will appear below the search.
  • When you click on the password result it will bring you to the password reset screen
  • Enter in your old password and new password
  • Click Save

*If you get a message saying you do not have permission to change your password please call the helpdesk at 920-565-1143*

Remember - all passwords need to be “complex”. That means you will need to make it at least 8 characters long, use 3 of the 4 character types (upper case {ABC} lower case{abc}, numbers{123}, or symbols{!@#}) If you type an invalid character it will alert you. You will also NOT be able to re-use any of your last 4 passwords.

If none of these options work for you, or you've forgotten your old password, you will need to stop in to the IT department on the Main Campus at the Brotz building or call the helpdesk at 920-565-1143 to provide some identifying information. For security reasons, we cannot reset passwords via e-mail requests.

Thank you,
