Microsoft Azure can help you reset your password by sending a special code to your home phone, cell phone, or another email account. This process is called authentication. You only need to do it once - before you require a reset.

Step 1

      ◊  Visit: https://aka.ms/ssprsetup

◊  Enter your full Lakeland email address   (*include @Lakeland.edu)

You'll automatically be forwarded to the Lakeland login screen.

      ◊  Enter your current password

Step 2

Select how you would like Microsoft to send you password reset PINs.

◊  Select 'Authentication Phone' to receive your PIN through a voice call or in a text message

                Or

◊  Select 'Authentication Email' to receive your PIN through an email account

Option 1: Authenticating Your Phone

First

      ◊  Enter your phone number

◊  Select whether you would prefer to receive a call or a text message

Then

Microsoft will quickly respond with a PIN.

◊  Enter the PIN that you received and click the verify button

Finally

A green check mark will appear, confirming your phone number.

This concludes the setup process for your phone.

        *  If you received your PIN in a text message, you may delete it.

**  While Microsoft is usually quick to respond, there are a lot of reasons why a call or text message may take a few
minutes to arrive. Please consider waiting a few minutes before making a duplicate request. Also, keep in mind that
each new request voids the previous PIN, should it eventually arrive.

***  Be sure to use the PIN found in the BODY of the text message. Often, these texts are sent from very short telephone numbers that look like they
           could be a PIN.

In addition, Microsoft will delete your information within 30 days if your account ever becomes deactivated or deleted.

Option 2: Authenticating Your Email

 First

      ◊  Enter your email address.

(Ideally, this is the email that you check most often. It can be personal or business, but it can't be Lakeland.)

 Next

Then

◊  In a new window, go to your email account. Find the message and copy the PIN code.

◊  Paste that code in the original window.

  Finally

A green check mark will  appear, confirming your phone number.

This concludes the setup process for your email.

        *  You may delete the email that was sent to you.
