Textbooks on Reserve-Check the library’s online list
Do you know that you can check online to see if your textbook is on reserve in the library?  Go to the library web page at lakeland.edu/library.   Under Services, click on Reserve Shelf.  You can search by instructor, title (alphabetical by first word in title including A, The, etc.), or, in some cases, by course such as Core III.  Remember our Reserve Shelf items cannot leave the library.  Ask for the item at the library front desk.  Although we have a nice collection of textbooks available, the Reserve Shelf does not include all course textbooks. In addition to textbooks, faculty will often place supplemental books, articles and DVDs on reserve when they anticipate high demand by students. Throughout the semester, as new items are added, we update the online list.  We hope you find the online list helpful.

Inter-library Loan
Requesting an inter-library loan item just got even easier! Now, patrons can submit ILL requests directly from the EBSCOhost databases. If you find articles in the these databases that the library does not have, simply click on the link which reads, ‘request this item through Lakeland’s interlibrary loan.’ To try it out, go to the library homepage and click on ‘Databases Find Articles’. Then select ‘EBSCOhost databases.’ You may be prompted for a password; In that case, you can find the login information on Blackboard or you can call the library at (920) 565-1038.
